Kenyan sand boas are adorable little snakes, that are fairly popular in the pet trade. Over the years various morphs have become available on the market, and in this article, we’ve gathered 10 of those morphs. Top 10 List – Kenyan Sand Boa Morphs
1. Albino
The first of the Kenyan sand boa morphs on the list is the classic albino morph. Albinism is the lack of melanin production, resulting in a much lighter snake than normal. As usual, the albino morph produces an absolutely stunning snake.
2. Anerythristic
The anery morph removes all color from the snake, and what you’re left with is a gorgeous white body with dark grey to black spots covering the top of the snake.
3. Striped
As the morph name suggests, this morph has a gorgeous stripe running down the back of the snake. It still retains the original coloring, and some of the splotchiness of the normal sand boas, just with the addition of the cool stripe.
4. Nuclear
The nuclear Kenyan sand boa morph is closest to what would be considered a normal-looking Kenyan sand boa. It has the same orange body and black splotches, it’s just a lot brighter and intense of a color. When mixed with other morphs it can really help them pop!
5. Snow
The cool thing about morphs is that they often create snakes in colors not normally seen naturally in reptiles (with a few awesome exceptions of course). One example is the color pink! The snow morph is characterized by the gorgeous bright white of the body, with gorgeous pastel pink spots/markings covering the body.
6. Calico
This morph lives up to its name and really does resemble the pattern of a calico cat. An orange base for the body and white and black splotches come together to create a very cool looking snake!
7. Snow Paradox
The paradox morph creates random black splotches/patterns across the body of the snake. When mixed with the snow morph that we described in number 5, it makes for a really unique looking snake.
8. Anerythristic Stripe
Two of the morphs already on this list come together to create a very cool looking snake. Just as we mentioned above, the striped morph creates a very funky looking stripe that goes down the snakes back. With the addition of the anery morph, the stripe is now a cool grey color, with black sides.
9. Anerythristic Paint
The paint morph produces a very high white snake, which means a gorgeously bright white body, with smaller black/brown splotches running down the body.
10. Albino Paradox Stripe
And last, but not least on our list of Kenyan sand boa morphs is the morph with three different morphs mixed in – albino, paradox, and stripe. Individually these morphs are already cool enough, but when mixed together the result is a one of a kind looking snake!
