Top 10 List – African Fat-Tailed Gecko Morphs
1. Patternless
First on our list of African fat-tailed gecko morphs we have the patternless morph! As the morph name suggests, these geckos are lacking the splotchy pattern that usual covers the gecko. The morph can produce anywhere from dark brown patternless geckos, to a gorgeous white when combined with other morphs.
2. Striped Tangerine Albino
As the name suggests this morph produces geckos with a bright white stripe down the back, and bright tangerine coloring. The albino softens the usual brown bands into a soft pastel.
3. Zulu
The zulu morph was first imported in 2006 by The Urban Gecko, but wasn’t reproduced in captivity until 2009. They ended up with the name Zulu for the morph because when the first zulu morph gecko emerged from the egg, her markings reminded them of a Zulu spearhead. The markings on the gecko’s back from the zulu morph truly are unique!
4. Oreo
As the name for this cute African fat-tailed gecko morph suggests, adults are the color of an Oreo – white and chocolatey brown.
5. Caramel White Out
Caramel white out is a gorgeous morph with a bright white base from the white out part of the morph, and then gorgeous caramel markings from the caramel albino.
6. White Out
As the morph name would suggest, white out produces a gorgeous gecko with a white base, with the addition of black markings.
7. Stinger
This morph got it’s name due to the pattern down the back that ends in a stinger shape over the hips. This is a great morph for mixing with other morphs to create beautiful combinations.
8. Ghost
The ghost morph gives African fat-tailed geckos a pale coloring, and almost transparent look to the gecko. It definitely gives the gecko a ghostly appearance!
9. Aberrant/Jungle
The aberrant morph makes the pattern/markings on the gecko’s back erratic and random. This is another morph that is really great for mixing with other morphs!
10. Starburst
And last, but certainly not least on our list of African fat-tailed gecko morphs, we have the amazing starburst morph! Blushing around the head and across the back compliment beautiful pastel orange tones.
